Question on door, trunk and hood seals installation

What's the best way to fit the doors without having the seals in hand. I have to figure a thickness to simulate the seal so when i adjust the door it will be properly adjusted when i install the seals after. I have to install the latch so it has to be correct.
I don't know which seals to order for the doors, trunk and hood. Any suggestions on how to do it right the first time,it also goes for the trunk and hood please, thanks guys !

when i got my car the doors, trunk, hood were already hinged so what i did was install the door latches with the door sitting flush with the outside of the body and the seals will fill in the gap between the door and body, now on the trunk i spaced the trunk lid up at the bottom so the body gap between the lid and body was the same all the way around and installed the latch so the lid sat up a little when latched and the seal fills the gap all the way around and the same with the hood just make sure it sits flush with the rest of the body around it . You can get seals from Sof-Seal just tell them what you have and they will hook you up.
