After I saw that car on the magazine, I searched this forum and discovered there were a few threads about it when it first came to light last March. One question I have is this. Other Cobra-like cars don't come with factory drive trains to avoid current requirements for safety equipment and other modern devices (e.g., collision bumpers). Does anyone know how Iconic Motors is dealing with these issues?

Perhaps like Excalibur did? Federal exemption for a limited number of builds, while still meeting some DOT/EPA requirements.
Great looking car, but I think the hood scoop is a little to pronounced.

The website shows a red one and a blue one, so I'm guessing there at least two?
Company says they're only manufacturing 100 of them.

Ehhh, I wouldn't bet on that... a color change for a web pic is now but a mouse click away. Remember the stories of how Shelby would repaint his car so folks thought there were more of them than there really were? Nowadays he'd just photoshop in a new color.

You should read about some of the technology in the car, there is an article about it inside the Dupont Registry. 0 to 60 in 3 seconds.
