Gawd, it was THE event of the season!!
Aw mah Gawd!!!!!
What a weekend!!!!! After dodging a major weather bullet all weekend (They said rain and snow everyday, all weekend)...we drove all 3 days. God was working with us. We have formed the all new CLUB CRANKY for all track events.....pics to follow. WEATHER... It RAINED all night & dried up for Saturday morning by 9am....no impact. It SNOWED between run groups...no impact. It HAILED after our last run group Sunday...no impact. FOOD..... The entire group contributed, especially Mr Bruce, we ate like pigs all weekend. We even had "unknowns" work their way into the group for the free food. Unbelievable! PEOPLE.... Unbelievable...The BEST group EVER!!!! Sorry you missed it Hank!!!! Highlights....... Cranky...for being well, NOT cranky! He met Cindi Crawford...a long story! Mr Bruce and Mrs Bruce...Roxanne (you don't have to turn on the red light!)....he made the best ribs ever....and cake too! Bruce even brought a glass Cobra body with him that he left in the rain and it shrunk! Thanks! Peter Baselice...no Shelby, just a good bottle of Scotch! Got me drunk and made me do funny things. (CS laughs here) Terry Shank....Kept his FFR off the armco! Don Durner...broke his car...AGAIN!!!!!! new nickname? Clutch Cargo or FEZ???? But before he broke, he showed us what an FE can do! He also had a bottle of Raki. Turk, how can you drink this stuff??? Norm McGood....brought his gee-tar and a smile. Mark McAdam....brought his Cobra and son Ryan. Ryan McAdam....brought his gee-tar and his dad. Al Good...his snotty, extremely fast Pantera. Flash to the Joker..."Where does Al get all those great toys?" Will Good...ripping it up in his 944. Rich and Steven Alpert...Rich brought his Miata Spec Racer and fooled everybody in Open track by giving his point bys throught his tinted glass rear window! No shows.....wha happened? Ed Diamond? Steve Sunshine? Super Snake - Dan-o? Bill Connelly? John Cronin? ...you missed a really GREAT time! Rumor has it I got drunk Friday night, made a fool of myself , told everyone I had 14 nipples and got some girls (who we did not know, but liked the fire) to lift their shirts for us. **) I learned how to clean myself like a dog. I had Cranky ride my butt at high speed. That was his loving way of telling me I had to drive faster....and I did! I sure hope I did not forget anyone. I was pretty hazy after the bonfire on Friday and couldn't focus on Saturday. A great group of which, I hope come back again and again! THANKS AGAIN!!!!! |
Another Transmission Casualty.
Luckily the rest of the group pulled my weight. I will be at an event next year without a doubt. looking forward to the pictures. -dan o |
