Club Cranky
Well boys, I am damn sorry I couldn't make the trip. Saw the photos, read the tales, and I am glad that SDW and Cranky lived down to their reputations.
Sorry to hear DD (FEZ?) was unable to play. Lucky for everyone else on the track though. Even them trucks. Alot bum kickin would've takin place. Well, keep a place open for ol Hank for next year. Hope to have the car back together and all the bugs out of it. Hank FFR 1776 |

Hank,
You know that you are a Charter member of Club Cranky. We all look forward to your continued partisipation in all "Club" activities. BTW mr. Bruce did a great job subbing for you with the tnt's. Hope your trip to Mickey Land went well. McCranky:3DSMILE: |
We missed you!!!!!!
Enrico,
Cranky and I were wonderin' if you fell off the face of the earth. I, for one, missed you and your automotive ballet skills (Spinderella?). Cranky could care less though since mrbruce provided a bottle of Tanqueray with a rubber nippple on it. He suckled around the bonfire each nite barely saying a word. I was surprised that he wasn't curled up in the fetal position though...you're the only one that could do that to him. We may have a new and improved schedule for next year. I would like to make a circuit of: - Watkins Glen - Summit Point - Rausch Creek (hopefully?) - VIR I would like to incorporate the BBQ lunch break (McBBQ??) into each event. If folks would be willing to spring for a few bucks, I'd be happy to pick the stuff up and bring my grill. We had a number of new faces and I think we'll just keep improving on the comeraderie at the track. I want to also possibly incorporate the 'show & shine" crowd on the weekend event at the Glen. See you soon my friend!!! |
You Bet!
I look forward to the new and improved 2002 circuit. Will eagerly await word on the schedule. Until then, I'll check myself into detox.
Mickey Land was okay, but made very tolerable by my day trip to Sebring on the 10th. The spirited running with some hot shoes for the day was great fun. Had a chance to chat with Charles Espenlaub who is the head instructor at Sebring. He is currently running in the Speedvision GT series as a rookie. Great guy. Scared the crap outa me when he snuck behind me on the course with his great driving technique.**) **) **) **) What is with Don's new name, FEZ? Hank FFR 1776 |
