Can anyone help with racing fun in San Francisco ?

I am from Denmark and I am going to visit San Francisco in week 20 in May on business trip.

But I have some free time between meetings.

Is there any race track or drag track in the San Francisco area ?

And can you rent a car which you can take to the track ?

Maybe a classic car dealers or spare parts dealers ?

I have at home in Denmark an Aurora cobra from 1981 with 302 ford engine.

Hope you can help

Hello Michael,
Yes, Borelli Motor Sports out of San Jose (here in the San Francisco Bay Area) does have rental/race-track cars. They are fully prepared race cars with full support. As for timing when you are here is the question. You would have to contact Ralph Borelli or one of his staff for more details and their schedule. They typically run at Sonoma Intl raceway (formerly sears point, Infineon), thunder hill raceway as well as Laguna Seca. But again based on their schedule not yours. Hope this helps.
