I saw a show Sunday morning about a fellow that sells primarily used Ferrari's in England, One car he sold as part of the show was the Aston Martin DB1 that Shelby won the 1959 Lemans with. He said it sold for $22 Million.

I heard the story of Shelby wining the first two races he was in at an Oklahoma airport converted to a race track. The story goes the track was the shape of a triangle and every other racer went from corner to corner in a straight line. Carroll made a circle out of the triangle and was able to go faster and win. Seems like others would catch on pretty quickly and wonder how true this folklore is.
