Toik, again...open invite to one and all, come run, watch, turn wrenches, drink Raki.....whatever.

We are a non-denominational group that enjoys fun!

The countdown is T minus 19 days and counting!!!! **) **)

Cranky's Track Turd is ready to go, he even suggested that yours truly, McBuff, come on over and put a coat of wax on it for the new millenium. Maybe I'll Armor-All is Kirkey seat so he slides around in the Oak Rett turn!

We got my new push rods in yesterday and timed it, just some incidentals to care care of now.

I can't wait!!!!

Mc Buff,
When you coming over to degrease the turd? Do you know where I can buy that stuff you put on your paint to make it shine? Do I have to remove the tire donuts from the doors before shining it. Perhaps I will put it outside in the rain and let it have a good bath, it is going to rain all day today.

Cranky Gasholes and other such stuff

McBlanks,

Wish we could join you! We had our first open track (NorCal SAAC of the season the 12th through 14th of April and we now have to wait till summer for our next shot! Track schedule got a little outa wack with the SAAC convention here over the 4th. We can get some track time there but very little and at high cost! So, for now we just look at the pictures (http://www.digitimages.com/ROAD-RACING.htm) of what was and try to conjure up the smells of rich exhaust and hot slicks!

Regards, Pete

Great pictures

Pete,
Lot's of great looking cars on track. The guys without helmets, were those parade laps?

McX:confused:

Pete C 04-28-2002 10:03 AM

No helmets

Cranky

Yep, Parade laps. This is the wild and wooly west but you still gotta wear a helmet on the track!

Pete
