Daytona coupe at the Glen
Heard from Bill Connelly that he will be bringing his Daytona coupe demo car to the Glen on August 19,20 for a shakedown run and perhaps a few hot laps.
If anybody is interested in one of the finest Daytona coupe replicas here is your opportunity to see and perhaps be given a demo ride by Bill. I know that I will be looking for a demo ride or something better. Cranky :3DSMILE: |
The Daytona of which Herr Crankenhammer speaks of is Upstate's replica of the Red Daytona Swiss car. Those that have been to Carlisle over the last 2 years may have seen it in various phases of its build. It is a perfect recreation. For those that don't know, the Upstate car started life as the Contemporary and its mold was splashed from CSX2299 during its restoration in the mid 80s.
