ATTENTION...Watkin's Glen Spectators!!!
I have already sent this note via email to all the Tri State (Quad State? Octo State?) Crankoids....just a note about coming to the Glen Aug. 19 & 20 or Oct. 4-6.
****************IMPORTANT ********************** If you plan on coming to Watkins Glen just to hang out and watch, you MUST be on the guest list. ...that's right, they have tightened security and ask that all expected visitors other than drivers, be on this list. Let me know if you're coming and we'll make sure you get in. ************************************************ This is criticical that we need to know who is coming. We have had folks drive 4 to 6 hours in the past and get turned away by security, just for going to the wrong gate. Now they want everyone on THE LIST. It's painless, just email me. |

I'm planning on coming up in Oct to spectate (watch) so put me on the list. I'll be running the following week at Pocono so I'm not hitting the track two weeks in a row. Roscoe |
No kids
Good news from the Rochester Shelby Club event at the Glen.
Nobody under 18 allowed in the pits. Remember at VIR when the little kids ran out in front of the stockcar and almost got hit. The mother of those kids came looking for the driver to give him hell. If she was watching her kids like she is supposed to do they would not be getting almost run over. Now at the Glen we don't have to worry about careless parents letting their kids get in the way. Cancel the Pocono event and sign up for the Glen. You won't be sorry. Pocono is a great stock car track, The Glen is a real roadcourse. Try this track and you'll never go back, to Pocono. RD:3DSMILE: |

To quote the ambassador of bad taste, Beavis.... DO IT...DO IT...DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! Pocono CANNOT...I repeat...CANNOT compare to Watkins Glen. Ask Tom R, he'll tell ya. Its like going on a date with Rosie O'Donnell after having already slept with Elizabeth Hurley. ;) ;) ;) |
