Hardtop for racing
Hi guys,
I ordered a "street " version that will not have a rollbar. It will be mostly for weekend cruising but I also intend to come to some of the less competitive venues and have some fun. Can anyone tell me if I will be able to run at any of the East coast tracks if I install a hardtop? Will it pass tech inspection? Thanks, Rich |
You'll be ok
It isn't always track dependant - a lot of times it depends on the sanctioning body.
The general answer is that most places will let you run if you have a hardtop. -Dan |
I would not drive a cobra on the street or track without a rollbar. The windshield and the fiberglass hardtop would not give you any protection! These cars have to short a wheel base and are to light in the rear not to have roll over protection.
