OK all you racers out there lets test your track knowledge.

1 in a oversteer slide ,weight should be transferred

a. to the front of the car.

b. to the back of the car.

c. to the opposite side from which you are turning.


2 you are accelerating hard out of a coner when you sense the car beginning to oversteer.you should :

a . apply full throttle.

b. lift off the throttle

c. ease off the throttle enough to stop the rear tires from spinning

d. add more steering into the car.


3 you are in a large oversteer slide that has gone past 90 degrees.you should:


a . shift into reverse

b. downshift into 1st gear

c. apply the brakes and depress the clutch while turning into the

slide.

d. let go of the wheel and close your eyes.


4. you are driving a car that inherently understeers and therefore you should:

a. squeeze on the throttle after braking in a straight line.

b.trail the brakes deeply into the corner.

c. use a higher gear than usual in the corner.

d. turn the wheel more than normal to compensate for the slip angle of the tires.


5.as you drive towards the exit of a corner,you realize that you are running out of road. this is the result of:

a. apexing too soon.

b. didnt trail the brakes long enough.

That's great. I thoroughly enjoyed that!

I might clarify for #5 that it doesn't mean all of those things happened, just that it might have been all of them. Also, you don't trail brake in an early apex.
