Helmet Fan ?'s

Has anyone used a fan attached to their race helmet. I have seen some advertised that are connected to an ice chest.
Do these systems make any difference on a hot day?
Thanks

Yes, I have used one for the last five years and it makes a big difference. There are no ventilation holes in the helmet and if you do not use the blower it gets real hot. I am going to install one in my Mustang race car tonight.

rbray, If you like the helmet cooler you will love a cool suit, I race in Texas and it has occasionally gotten hot down here and I can't understand why anyone wouldn't use anything in a car to keep you cool.
