Toploader shifter options

I have been racing my Cobra for almost three years now and I was wondering if anyone besides me is getting tired of slamming there hand into their gauges when they are shifting hard/fast into third gear?

When I built my Cobra I wanted to somewhat resemble the original cockpit astetics. Now I want buy a short shifter to use during track events. I have a hurst shifter mounted on my toploader and I was wanting a shifter that resembles the new Ford GT. One that extends about 5" above the floor tunnel.

I can make one but I don't really have time and I would rather purchase one if one is available.
