Drag Racing Times - Original 427?
In reading an article in the December 1984 issue of Car Collector magazine, the author states that the 427 Shelby-Cobra was able to set AHRA records in its day, as follows...
10.93 seconds at 128.9 MPH and 9.70 seconds at 142 MPH No details as to the cars, dates, tech specs or anything else given. Now those are pretty darned good numbers. Does anyone have any details on these achievements? Thanks |
