Orig R Code 63 1/2 Galaxie 500 427
Local Tulsa FE Guy is selling some of his stuff.
I have a friend posting his original 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback on E-Bay tonight. Complete w/ 427 S.O. , 2 X 4 Tunnel Ram Man w/ Carbs, Toploader 4 sp etc. Fred tells me it can be bought for $11,000.00. By the way the car has been stored in Arizona. He is also selling his Boss 9 Mustang on E-Bay as well but he wouldn't give me a price on that one. Clois |
Hi Clois,
Would your friend take $11,000 for it right now? I have a friend that is very interested. Any way I could get in touch with you or you friend? Thanks. Ciao, Shawn C |
Here is my cell number if you want to give me a call

Shawn,
I just got off the phone w/ Fred and he said he had just posted it on E-Bay. Sorry I was so late checking your message but I had previous plans after work today. I am getting ready to look at the post on E-Bay. I can assure you that what ever he tells is the absolute truth and you couldn't find a better person to do business with anywhere. I couldn't find it on E-bay yet so I guess there is some kind of delay. Clois |
Hey Ernie!
Damn! Thats twice in two days that I have given out my number as 470. It is 479-8580. Think it has something to do with having only three working fingers left? HaHaHa! Thanks Ernie. See ya at Bryans on sunday.
Ciao, Shawn C PS: Did you hear what they did to our bill after we left? Not good. |
Clois, thanks for the info. Been looking for a big block "Stang for a long time, but the wife says I need to sell the Van and Fiero before I start a new project.
BTW, Bryan and Barry are at the Starbird show this weekend with Bryans Cobra and the shop '34. You oughta stop by and say hey. |
I plan on going to the car show tomorrow. I talked to Bryan yesterday trying to get him to make me a deal on a locker 9" rearend.

Clois,
You say they guy's name is Fred? I know a guy in the area that has an R code Galaxie and Boss 9 but his name is John. Could there be two people in Tulsa lucky enough to own these cars? |
Fred is better known around town as Freddie Webb. The 63 Galaxie is pretty much a basket case but it has all the right paper work and most of the parts. The Boss 9 is pristene. Freddie also has a one of two Black on Black 67 GT with an original factory 427, factory 4 speed, and factory air that he is the third owner. Originally, ordered and owned by one the Execs at Ford. I have seen the chain of title and it is exactly as he said it was.
He has some other neet toys too. Freddie and his wife (the driver) campaigned a 600 plus CI all aluminium blown gas Ford truck at Tractor Pulls across the country. Fred has probablly 10 acres not to far from the port of Catoosa with a 1st class shop that is loaded with FE parts and cars. First rate guy. By the way he has been hawking this guy in Minnesota for almost 12 years to sell him his Red 69 Boss 429 with 35,000 original miles on it. It is the exact one that got away from he and his wife while they lived in California in 1969. Clois Clois |
