those crazy kids at TMS
just got back from a weekend of Texas Motorspeedway fun with all types of SCCA racing. My bro races spec racer ford class, and we went in support and to watch the fun. A couple crazy crashes, one where a kid in a formula atlantic (this kid is 16) hits his dad, also in FA car, and jumps him about 6 feet in the air...and yes, I got the pic. I will be putting a couple on later when I have a little more time.

check your email, I sent you a couple. Yes, I am gonna get started pulling the motor in the AM or maybe Wed AM...it has to come out and the sooner I get it going the sooner I can drive again. hey, my bro told me that at hallett, they have tons of those spec racers we could rent and chew at each others heels in the track..whadda think?

OK, I uploaded a couple pics from last weekend..check em out. the formula crash was exciting. that is a 16 yo kid running over the top of his father. I am told about 160K worth of car being toasted there (including both cars). I sat next to the kid the next day as he watched dad race...they got his car repaired. This kid still had colored braces on his teeth and did not look old enough to drive my lawn tractor.
the 44 car is my brother, trying to keep from hitting a spinning car. He missed him and ran pretty well. He is doing pretty well for a new comer to the sport. images are in my gallery...if someone wants to move them to the tread, please do. I just don't know how Buzz |
