Here's a look at what some guys like to do at Watkins Glen. Sorry no Cobras but you will get an idea of what open tracking is all about.

What are events like this? NASA or SCCA events? I'm wondering how a guy in a replica could do some laps on these famous tracks? I don't think I'd qualify for Vintage.

For a fee you can drive your car around Watkins Glen behind a pace car when there is no scheduled races. Check their website for available dates.

Track Days at WGI
You can drive many of the tracks at HPDE events. I know that both Sports Car Drivers Assoc. (spda1.com) and PDA / NASA have 2 day events at WGI.
