anyone going to SCCA at Ft Worth next weekend?
my brother is running a spec racer ford. just wondered if anyone else will be out there running.

hi, Buzz. i went last year to TMS for the Texas Driving Experience track day, and i believe a few from the Dallas area are going this next week as well, but I am not able to this year.
it was great watching the 'fast cars' and 'faster drivers' do their practice runs! wow! Lindsay Adams (?) was a cute young woman qualifying. very impressive! Kristen (seeya in Tulsa) |

Dad's got one of the first new Z06's delivered in Dallas. There's also an orange Lotus Elise that they play with. Of course I'm a fan of hers, I got a thumbs-up from her one day while driving by in the Cobra... |
I think there is some autoX, but there is whole bunch of road racing going on. Interesting photo in my pics of dad of Team Tomlin being run over by son of Team Tomlin. The kid still had braces on his teeth, so young.

no, no autocross out there that i know of. this is straight scca track time.

Kristen is correct - no AutoX. This is an SCCA Double National event on Saturday and Sunday and an enduro event on Friday afternoon. It's all Road Racing.
That's why TDE is sponsoring the track day on Thursday so all these guys can come out and "test and tune". There's still time for you folks to sign up and come out and run in the street class. We have about 25 or so signed up so far. Plenty of room for more! :3DSMILE: :3DSMILE: :3DSMILE: |
