I am going to set my engine in the frame this week. I was thinking of sending my headers out after the engine is bolted in. Should I wait in case I have to modify them? Are you going to weld the pipes to the headers? Any other tips and ideas from experience? Thanks

yes wait to get them coated. You have to cut the header down to allow the sidepipes to get a bit closer to the body. No you dont weld the pipes to the the headers. I welded a 1/4" rod across the headers and pipes and used a spring to hold them together. Works great. I dont have a picture handy but I could get one if you need.
