I looked at the A@C cars back when i was doing research on the different kits and they where in the top 5 when i finaly made the decision to go with Midstates.......
but it does look a lot like my Midstates but i guess a lot of them do........ |

Thats a nice color..........but you didnt fix the hole in the hood..
|
That looks great! how many hours went into the prep of the engine bay? Nothing looks better than a totally smooth and painted engine bay. Do A@C gelcoat bodies have a somewhat finnished and gelcoated engine bay? Richie

Eddytheb,
What type of sanding blocks do you use when blocking to get the body flat over all the curves? Liam |
Did the final wet sanding, masked, sealed and added the stripe color, taping up the stripes tomorrow. I am going to add more info and photos oh how to lay out and measure were to put the stripes in the next few days stay tuned hope it helps and you enjoy. More progress stripes are masked off and base has been added all I have to do is nib sand out a few spots of dust one or two more light coats, un mask, check over and make any repairs that may need to be made and its time to clear. I will most likely wait till Friday to clear just so I have time to really look it over.

Almost done buffing one more day to go :JEKYLHYDE and its ready to start assembly. I started wet sanding a few days ago with Meguiars 1500 then 2000 then 3000 grit papers and then buffed with my favorite pads and compounds from Mequiars.
