when i built my factory five roadster i used 3m super 77 spray adhesive over the dynamat then i also sprayed the back of the carpet. ffr uses a lot of cut pieces of carpet so your lnstallation may be different?.

I went with commercial grade velcro. Three inches wide if I recall correctly. Excellent glue on the side you glue down and very tenacious velcro locking power on the other side. Works for me...

I used Weldwood Gel Contact Cement. The hi VOC stuff. I cleaned the foil well with lacquer thinner prior to application. Seems to stand up to the heat in the foot boxes well.

The 3M or other brands of spray adhesive work well. The easiest thing to clean up any overspray is actually charcoal lighter fluid. The charcoal lighter fluid won't hurt any paint, vinyl or carpet. It disolves any adhesive overspray immediately.
