March power steering on Ford FE

Has anyone used the March performance power steering barcket and pump on their kit? I installed it and it looks great and will work out very good but there doesn't seem to be a good amount of room for the steering shaft.
Any thoughts would be great. I will post some pictures very soon.
Thanks,

i use the same setup on my 460. it is extremely tight clearance. i also had to change how the power steering bracket bolts to the engine. the march-factory mounts would make the power steering pump hit the frame. it still needs a little work - but they do look nice :)

It does look nice. Did you use a 3 joint set up with yours? Also do you have the flaming River rack? Thanks,

i used a curved bracket and an adjuster rod to bascially swing the pump up away from the frame. it works, but needs some tension adjustment because the belt is a little loose. that is part of my winter project.

i am using a remade thunderbird rack, supposedly they have the right flow/pressure ratings to work with a standard saginaw pump. i actually blew the seals out of my stock mustang-ii rack that i used originally. blew them out after 800 miles or so. leaked out when i was picking up thai takeout for me and the wife.

i drove it for 500 or so more miles before swapping the rack. if it happens again...i'll go manual.

the 'manual power steering' wasnt that bad at all

What I will have to do is mock up the steering shaft to see what I need for room and go from there.
I did see that if I use a smaller belt, it will get me a little more room so I might try that.
thanks for your help.
