### just wondering

has anyone broken the adjustable 4-link rods on the A&C

I have twisted the drivers side axle tube out of the housing earlier this year. replaced the housing and welded it for more reinforcement.

then the other day at an autocross, it was feeling a little springy again. saw that my passenger side upper 4-link control arm broke right at the "screw end".

as long as my front control arms dont snap on the track, i should be OK

A few years back I went around a corner a bit agressively and when I got back to the garage I noticed the rear end off to one side.
Here I broke the weld on the fixed side, not the threaded side.
I had it welded and added a Panard bar, no issues since then.
The original 4 link ALuminum bars were more than enough to keep the rear end in place, but when you go to the adustable units all that side loading goes thru those welds.
You need the Panard bar to keep the rear end in place in that center arc of the suspension.
