Wheels

It's been a while but my engine is finally being built and I want to order my wheels. I have wilwood brakes and the front adds 1.5" to the total width. I'm going with 17x11 rears and 17x8 fronts. A&C says 4" bs for the back so I guess I need 5" bs to add the extra inch inside and they say 4.5" bs on fronts so I need 5.25 bs for the fronts to account for what the wilwood brakes add.

My question do the rear tires stick out further than the fronts when the body is mounted? The distance between my rear mounting surfaces is 54 1/8" and front is 56 3/8 so I'm coming up with the rears being about 1.5"-2" wider than the fronts on each side. Does that make sense?
I'd rather measure couple more times than order wheels 2 times haha

I would call Joe and ask him his thoughts!

I went with Team III wheels. I am trying to upload some new pics but it keeps saying the file is too big after i reduce the resolution. Don't remember how i did it last time.

The brake lines look good. What were your numbers on the dyno?

Thank you. Hope they don't leak

Hate to "resurrect" a thread from the dead but, what back spacing did you go with?
I`m looking at Team 3 myself in 17X9 and 17X11.
General consensus on this forum seems to be 4.5" backspacing.

It depends on what front hubs you are using. I have wilwood brakes and hubs. The hubs have a .75" positive offset to the origional so i had to go with 5.25"in the front and 4.5" in the rear.

I have the same exact setup as rcobtakit67
17x8 fronts. 17x11 rears. I don't have the body though but Richie does. Did your wheels come in? How does it look all together?

I`m running the regular Mustang II spindles with Wilwood D154 calipers.

I'm hoping to get the rims mounted to the tires tomorrow. Ill post pictures when i have them on the car. H-Rod go on wilwoods website and look up the part # and see if they are offset.
