What are these?

I received my headers from A&C last week.

In the box were some "rings".
Cut pieces of tubing 1 1/2" tall with a 2" OD & 1 7/8" ID diameters.
Obviously, the ID is the same as the header tubes themselves.

A&C`s sidepipe exhaust assembly are slip fit over their headers though.
If that`s the case, then what are these for?

The only thing I can think of is possibly if you`re welding up your own sidepipes and you need a collar to mate to the end of the headers?

Looks to me the primaries don't touch each other, so maybe the rings are slipped over the pipes to keep them separate as each pipe is welded to the flange.

You didn't buy his side pipes? Dont cut the pipes evenly .... Easier to put side pipes on with them that way

I`m debating as to whether or not to buy their sidepipes or have a custom set made.
I wasn't going to cut anything til I have the sidepipes.

if your headers are 1 3/4" they are adapters. the tubes on the pipes are swelled to 2" and these slip in to take up the extra space.

You can also weld rings to 4bolt type flange to bolt on/off side pipes I beleive factory5 sells the flange mine were like yours that's what I did and works great.

DING DING!
He is correct.

I just got off the phone with Joe and he said the exact same thing.
Now then, looks like I`ll be purchasing my side pipes from A&C now.

Oh, and in my first post I said my header tubes were 1 7/8".
They`re not.
They`re 1 3/4"
My bad!

You won't be disappointed with them. I would get them ceramic coated
