Received Body - I changed to Red

Originally ordered Royal Blue....but I changed to Red; I got the Ultra Gel and its real smooth. looks like wet sanding and buffing would help. But I plan to paint white racing stripes and then I'll have it cleared. Someone on this forum said that "Joe" said to be sure to use DuPont Polyoxidane before painting. Any suggesting's would be appreciated.

That red looks good. I went with the blue, does your body have sanding scratches in it. Mine does,i am eventually going to wetsanded and buff it. Either way its worth getting gelcoated. Good luck especially with hanging the doors lol. They wer probably the most frustrating part of the whole build. Richie

Thanks Richie! I did order Royal blue, but changed it to their red...since I've been planning this for about 40yrs as red..lol
If you look close you can see some marks, but its real smooth, and seems strong. take it light with the wet sanding.

ALSO..
-What did you do for steering assy/wheel?..
-How did you measure for the headers cut out?
-Did you have to remove radiator to assemble body?
Thanks

I went with a flaming river column and a lacarra steering wheel . I measured out the opening with the body on. I originally mounted the radiator and headers before i put on the body, but had to remove them to get the body on. P.m. me your phone # and i will text you pictures.
