Trunk handle location
 
I have a strange question for all you Antique & Collectables owners out there. For whatever reason I just noticed our trunk handles are located below the trunk lid and everybody else that I can find out there has them on the trunk lid itself. Any idea why? I kind a wish I had noticed this before I installed mine LOL!

If the trunk handle is located in its original location, as Cobra bodies/chassis were made by AC in England, the distance between the bottom of the license plate light and the top of the handle assembly was sized for British license plates (wider than and not as high as US plates)

This causes a problem for mounting US plates. Your manufacturers solution was to relocate the latch.
