Car Dimensions
What are the actual Finished Car Dimensions. I have been looking through this sight and can't find anything.
|
Of which car?
Each brand will be different. The original Cobra where hand made and each was a little different on the outside dimensions. |

Sorry. The Antique & Collectibles autos 67 Roadster.
|
I have an A&C. They are the 90" wheel base same as the original Cobra. They used an original 1967 Cobra to make their molds from. Their website has a ton of information on it, if you haven't looked at it.
The person I purchased my car from was selling it because he had upgraded to an ERA. ERA is well known as very close to an original. He told me he had them sitting side by side, and he couldn't see any differences by the eye in the body shape of the two. His ERA was not at the garage that I purchased my car from, so I never got the chance to see them side by side. |
Thanks. I'm trying figure out what size of enclosed trailer I will need to go and pick it up when I finally purchase one.
|
Trailer
If it’s just the body I have used a U-Haul 6x12 ulitiy trailer with the rear gate open. I set a tire on the gate to support the trunk and a couple 2” ratchet straps from Harbor Frieght.

Mine is almost exactly the same dimensions of a Miata.
|
I hauled mine in a box trailer. I had about 6" clearance per side, at most, maybe less. I had planned on pulling the car in with a come along. That proved difficult on a 99 degree 100% humidity Louisiana day. So we drove it in. Then the problem was, how does the driver get out?
If you want I could go out an measure mine for you. |
olddog if you get a chance that would be great. I live on a mile of gravel road so this trailer will be the only good way for me to get to a paved road.

Thanks. That's what I was looking for. Looks like it will have to be at a minimum 71/2'x16'.
