Replacing all the shocks on an A&C kit

I'm replacing all the shocks that came with my kit with QA1 shocks. I'm going with 450 lbs. springs in the front because of my FE block, but not sure what spring rate to use in the back. I know a lot of people have changed out the shocks from the ones that came in the kit, but what springs did you use for the rear? Thanks.

I ran 180lb springs in the rear and 450 springs, froosway bar with adjustable qa1 shocks. I had drag radials in the rear and the car hooked up really well.

I have a West Coast Cobra with an iron-headed 460 - both car and engine are heavier than yours. Mustang II front suspension with standard length control arms. Worth noting is that both weight and angle affect spring selection.

My front QA1 coilovers have 465 lbs/in springs, while rear coils (not coilovers) are 300 lbs/in. The rear springs on the Ford 9" axle are pretty much vertical.

Does anyone know what the stock springs are from A&C?

springs

for a bb 450 front and 250 rear. call A&C...

My kit is one of the newer ones and came with King adjustable coilovers for the front. Not sure if the other builds came with Kings.

The fronts shocks and coils seem perfect with the soft compression and medium rebound, but the rear are really stiff and also not adjustable.
