How Is your A&C Titled?
Just a general question to A&C owners, if you don't have/own an A&C please don't respond.
What year is your A&C titled as? Who is your insurance through? Insurance premium and exclusion? Thank you. John |
I have an A&C 34 Ford, titled as a 2001 custom coupe (NC's name for a kit car). I have liability insurance thru Allstate, they won't write collision, comp on kit cars in NC, so my agent says. I pay about $125 every six months for the liability coverage. Hope this is of some help..

John: Mine is titled in Ohio as a "2001 Self Assembled Vehicle" (SAV) 1967 Ford Cobra Replica.
My insurance is State Farm with a Antique/Classic/Replica policy. It is insured as a 1967 Ford Cobra Replica and has an Agreed value of 40k with full coverage 300/100 including towing for $220 a year. They say 3000 miles but don't ask for a milage statement when the policy renews. Jim |
My title says 1966 AC Cobra Roadster
Insurance through American Collectors in NJ My insurance policy says Replica of a 1966 AC Cobra Roadster Roscoe |
mine is 67 cobra replica. 30,000.00 value 2500 miles per year the only company which could find me insurance was AAA in bangor. but they went to condon and skelley in NJ. all the other insurances would not insure a cobra. i heard a lot of NO No No. so i was getting a little nervous. but all went well in the end Neil
