Panhard Bar?
With the 4 link rear setup on the A&C chassis, shouldn't a panhard bar be installed? Everything I've read on the subject says it should be installed.

I am sure it matters what you intend to do with the car. For street use only, not sure you need it. If you plan on track time, probably should have it to give sideways stability of the rear end.
I have the adjustable 4link on mine and very happy with it. Jim |
Whatever you do - do NOT add a panhard bar to a car that has a 4-link (ala Mustang) rear suspension. You will cause binding and ultimately will break parts.
As the rear end moves up and down, the panhard will move the differential from left to right as the effective length of the panhard bar changes with ride height. |
No need for a panhard. I've got over 20k on my A&C including road track time and have never had a problem. I DID install a set of Metco upper control arms which are adjustable. I had some problems with the pinion adjustment, it was binding. With the adjustable uppers I brought the pinion angle down.
