Electronic Speedometer help

Where do I connnect the sending unit on a C-4 transmission for an electronic speedometer? Any help appreciated!

It goes into the speedo drive hole. Usually a stock Ford speed sensor from a later Ford is compatible with most electronic speedos. The ones that usually come with the speedo have a threaded drive instead of the clamped in Ford design.

WDZ,

thanks for the reply, can I get a sensor from a Ford dealer (OR NAPA) that will fit my C-4?

You must make sure the gears mesh.

If they are in the same direction, they will not turn and the speedo gear will destroy the sending unit gear.

Just my opinion.
