Emergancy brake handle

I know I asked this question before but the post seems to be gone and I have since run into further problems.

I just wanted an emergancy brake handle that could be mounted on the tunnel side like the origionals. In the past I have been told to try to find one for an old Jag or get a Lokar from Summit or Finishline.

I called Summit, they said there is no such product but call Lokar. I called and talked to Lokar. They said they have no such product. So, I tried the folks at Finishline with the same exact results. All said they are top mounted.

I suppose the top mounted system could be mounted on the side of the tunnel but then it would pull toward the passenger seat. Not sure that is a good idea.

I have seen pictures of cars with a side tunnel brake but Lokar says no. What am I missing here guys?

Thanks,

Aaron

The MGB has a reasonable side mounted handbrake assembly. It would be faifly easy to retro fit one to any chassis. Should be plenty available in the wrecking yards over in the US too.

I think you might be looking for the EHB 7011 11" trans mount.
