Brake master cylinder & Fuel pump ?
Hi Guys,
I'm still in mock-up stage and gathering parts. My questions are what mastercylinder are you using for the four wheel disk brakes. Joe said I could use an 84 vette booster and cylinder but I want to use as many Ford pieces as possible, I know sounds dumb huh. My other question is what brands of electric fuel pumps are you using? I noticed what looks like a Holley on Aaron's pictures, but the last one of these I had on my street rod was so noisy I could hear it over the exhaust and its a 460 with 3" glasspacks. Thanks ,Sam |
Sam,
I'm using a Tilton Racing floor mounted pedal set with three master cyl's. I have a Tilton Racing hydraulic throw out bearing. I upgraded the front calipers to 4 piston Wilwoods. No booster. Also I'm using an Aeroquip elec pump mounted on the inner chassis just under the drivers seat. They all make noise but I threw my Holley away cause I had nothing but trouble with it. http://www.priveye.com/dls/pedal2.jpg http://www.priveye.com/dls/brakeres.jpg |
