A&C Spindles & Rear Axle Splines

Hi Guys, Well I just put my deposit down on my A&C kit Friday. I've been toying with the idea for a couple of years, but now that my GS is pretty much done I'm itching for a new project! Anyays I'm already in the process of looking for parts. First off course are the chassis parts. I see on ebay a few pontential leads. First off they have listed a mustang II spindle set with a new 11" disc brake setup for $300. Have any of guys tried an aftermarket setup or am I better off going to a junk yard? Second do any of you know what the spline set up is for the rear axles?

Thanks!

Jim

Jim I picked up my Cobra in August and the rear axle was a 28 spline. I hope that helps.

AC spindles

Hi Jim: I bought the spindles off of Ebay ad am quite happy with it. The spindle nuts i had to get from the dealer. Yes they are still available. There are sets on ebay that come with calipers too but thats up to you. I put all mustang two calipers, pads and flex lines. All OEM mustang 2. Hope this helps.

PS. If you can afford it, stay away from the junkyards. Build with brand new or remanufactered parts. So much easier, cleaner and you know that your car is brand new literally.
