Will heres another thread. I dont know what i would do without this forum. Well i cut out the areas above the driverside foot box as the scribe lines called for. I go and place my 87 ford mustang pedal assembly and find out that it is not even close. The clutch pedal rubs along the side so i have to make it wider. The whole assembly has so many holes that it will never pass safety. Also if i push it up all the way to the firewall, there is still a big gap for that i can't mount the booster mount. The whole cut out is just not right. I should of really spent alot more time on this before cutting it but oh well. I can always start covering up the open spaces with steel. Also i cut the clutch pedal as per the instructions and assembled it. The problem is as per the manual, the part where the clevis it suppose to mount from the clutch master cyling is facing up and not down. It is impossible for it to face down because the base of the pedal assembly doesn't allow it because it radiuses out. I can cut it away but is this the way to do it. I know that a few of my my fellow builders used the pedal system coming up from the floor but is there anyone that used the same system as per the assembly manual.

Are you using the pedle box from A&C or the stock stuff from a mustang

I think Lew is using the stock stuff from a Mustang. Mine is aftermarket, if you like I can send you pictures this weekend.

Hey guys: I called AC. AC supplies the Peddle box. I didn't know that and no where does it say that. I guess it is included in the last part of the kit. I am going down there on Monday and pickup up the remainder of the kit accept the interior because they are behind on that part of the kits. Now i know that it will fit like it is suppose too.

Throw away all that stuff from an old Mustang and what you get from A & C.
Contact Pete Clark at 716-366-1806 - website: www.fasttimesrods.com. He has a standard pedal assembly, he can also make it cover whatever hole you made. Just give him the measurements of the opening with references to the footbox area.
Pete can set you up for whatever you need. He builds a lot of A & C cars, he use to be their Fab guy.
Pete also has a lot of accessory items he designed and makes for their cars.
Tell him Jim Farrell referred you to him.
He is also a dealer for Finishline and others so he might be able to get you a small disounts on stuff.
He also is a great source for info on the build. Buy some stuff and I'm sure he will be more than helpful.

The pedel box you will get from A&C is the same as you will get from pete, I got three sitting right here in front of me. Just tell Joe what pedels you want to use.
