Having a good spring?

Final a good few weeks without breaking anything. The cobra draws gear heads like honey. LOL..(no its not a factory five!)
Enjoying the heck out of cruising. Its amazing what pulls up out of no where! Tonight a 65 mustang fastaback pulls up with cobra strips. Must have been a 289 kinda quiet compared to the sidepipes. A couple of waves and good bye!. The 392 really pulls hard in second.

Cheers
Ron

I long for those days. I cant seem to get 15 minutes to work on the thing. Basically down to body work, paint, and final assembly. Im starting to get embarrassed at the time Im taking on this thing.

Enjoy,
Aaron

AAron,

Took me 2 1/2 years. Take your time, do it right. Even if you make a little progress each week or even month it will keep you going. Just don't stop!
Hope you get on the road soon.

Ron, enjoy! put over 700 miles on mine so far this season, and I feel like I hardly drive it!:D

Only 500 miles in 2 1/2 months. I'll find any excuse to drive it. Don't miss not having a radio one bit! Average about 8 mpg with the small tank it a little annoying but not too bad. Took it on one highway cruise it appears that mileage jumps up 15-20 range. I have a edelbrock 750cfm it probably would do better with a 650cfm and a vacuum distrubitor. I think this winter I might pull the motor and port match the cylinders and manifold and go to a roller cam. NOT till winter. Having too much fun.

Aaron hang in there it worth it.

Ron
