Mike & other AZ Cobras,
In the last few weeks I have been deluged with junk email, some of which contained othe members addresses. If this is true, what can we do to stop this ****? On another subject, who is going to the all Ford show on the 24th? Bill Gildersleeve 928-636-6190 byepa@aol.com |

be careful; do these e-mails have attachments? There are a few virus/trojans around that, when they infect a system, they send out e-mails to a user's address book list... ...which could include Cobra-friends. ask if you need more info... |
Computerworks is correct. There are quite a few virus' going around that use MicroSoft Outlook as their medium for sending out the virus to other systems.
I suggest that computer users invest in a good anti-virus system and keep it up to date. I have been using Norton for the past 10 years. System scans all emails before I open them. I also scan all files before I open them and when I close them. I urge all computer owners to do the same. One more important item....How many of you are using a backup program. Cheap insurance against Hard Drive failure. Mike |
