$17.00 to get into a car show?
I must be a tight wad. |
Boy, you're some kind of wad alright.
Plus $5 for parking. AZ Bob |
Don't feel alone Dan. Lots of us won't pay that kind of $$ to go look at someone elses car.
|
Good Guys is the only show worth paying for.
|
Good Guys goes 'WAY beyond being just a car show. 'Tain't cheap but it is certainly a full day's entertainment.
|
Four of us from Tucson are going up in my crew cab for the yearly look see. If you go on Saturday save some energy to go to Pavillions Saturday night. It is typically loaded with cars on the Saturday that Good Guys is going on.

So Bob
Did you go? who had Cobra's there? Had a friend that went and saw 2-3 cobra's. who was there? |
Ya Bob, tell us about the show and UFC if you will.

Good Guys 2009
Good Guys was bigger than ever. No space anywhere! More vendors, more swap meet, bigger car corral. Had to be 2000+ cars. Visual overload. Only saw 2 cobras, one Shelby aluminum roadster owned by a vendor and an FFR for sale for way too much $$. I think like $42,500 OBO.

Bob, I'm way to damn old for the UFC or anything like that. I have a hard time just trying to control my car. BTW, when do you want to meet at the track with no squeeze. |
Car count was 2500+.Swap meet section was bigger than in recent memory.GG is starting a spring show next year-sometime in March.

Cobrabill is right on. They stopped letting cars in the show at about 1:30 on Saturday afternoon because the car display area was filled to capacity. One of the Good Guys Guru's told me at that time they had right at 2900 cars in all of the display areas.
The vendors were down though. Inside the tent they had a lot of open space that in the past has been filled. The ouside vendor area was a little light too. Lots of great cars though and a perfect day to check them out. |
