Thanks for the great time at lunch today. It was nice to see so many Cobras together. During tonights TV news the official low temp in Tucson was 27 degrees. I would say that it must have been about 23 degrees when I left Catalina for the meeting location this morning. It made me feel pretty good to see all of the other Cobra drivers and passengers all bundeled up, we would not have won any "best dressed" contest ! I think I'll look for a Santa hat like many of you wore, but I want ear muffs in it. Happy New Year to All.

John, YOU are the man! You are the only Cobra member to represent your part of the state!
You WILL get the prize! We'll think of what that will be, right guys?:confused:Ralphie:MECOOL: |
Maybe we can give him Chuck?
|
Pictures?
Anybody take any worth showing? Good turn out
|
Think Judy counted 16 cobra's 1 70's Capri and a couple of other cars of which I don't remember.
|
I know a blond who shot some pretty good video... Coming soon to a theater near you.
|
Davey Doodle, I think Fitz is talking about anyone having taken any good pictures!

If I rode everywhere with Chuck, I think I'd reach back for 70's flicks also, Ralph..

My IROC did a burnout the entire length of the Tortilla Flat parking lot when we all left. Only the last Cobra behind me saw this. Is there an award for best burnout? Hard to believe......... in a dang Camaro!

Hey Bill, ain't that Chevy power wunnerful? SO different from the blue oval stuff you're used to. Think how it would be in something 1000#s lighter and you'll understand why I roll the way I do.

Hey Karlos,
So what is the latest info on your Hot Rod Chebbie? Last I understood the body was completed, the chassis had down tubes added from the dash bar towards the front connecting ahead of the spindle centerline. Am I close here with what you have done? What is left to get her back on the road? What are you building the car for it's main useage.... drag race with a little street or street with a little drag strip use? Jeff c |
I was the last one to leave I think. I stood next to some of the people and listened to their comments as some of "those" people left. Funny!
 [1] now that was useless [2] I bet that old women loved that hole in her stocking from the stones [3] Do those cars have mufflers? [4] Grown men doing that sort of thing; it is just terrible! Ethel, did you get his plate number? I liked that fat guy with no hair. [5] There should be a law against those things; they are dangerous [6] Look the other way Henry! Take that smile off your face! [7] I needed one of those when I was 33 years old [8] My uncle had one of those MGs; they were made in England. [9] that is why we have no gas :mad:in this country [10] Fu....king republicans! And a few of you need to learn how to do burn outs without scaring old ladies to death. A few of you were just a few seconds from running into parked cars etc. That will wake you up in the morning....... |
Ahhhh, I love the smell of burnt rubber any time.

"[1] now that was useless"
Must have been me. |
Probably. You did have Judy with you.
Tell Judy that Ginny lets me play. Mike |
