Proud to be from Arizona
After having dug to a depth of 10 feet last year, New York scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 100 years and came to the conclusion that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 100 years ago.
Not to be outdone by the New Yorkers, in the weeks that followed, a California archaeologist dug to a depth of 20 feet and shortly after a story in the LA Times read: 'California archaeologists, finding traces of 200 year old copper wire, have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network a hundred years earlier than the New Yorkers. One week later, The Yuma Daily Sun reported the following: After digging as deep as 30 feet in the desert near Wellton, AZ, Pedro Gonzales, a self-taught archaeologist, reported that he found absolutely nothing. Pedro has therefore concluded that 300 years ago, Arizona had already gone wireless.. Just makes me proud to be from Arizona !:JEKYLHYDE |
Cobrabill, are you sure Pedro wasn't digging a tunnel to facilitate moving something or someone from one place to another? Seems to be the most prevelent reason for some people's digging dirt in AZ.

Cobrabill, I love your picture, gim'me a big one baby.
|
John, you need to stay home more often.
|
CObrabill, you may be correct. It's Jan. 6th and I have over 210 miles on my Cobra so far this year. ( I do aim for 1,000 miles a month )

Bill, Funny post. Now about those tunnels they are digging in Arizona. Ron :3DSMILE: |
Now everyone in Arizona knows that Bill lies. You can't dig 30 feet in Arizona without hitting Coliche and that stops all digging. After that, it's called blasting!
Arizona wireless. That's funny! |

Last week a car fell into a sinkhole caused by a tunnel under the border in Nogales. A quick scan of this article mentioned 20 major tunnels in 09 alone were discovered. With well over 100 tunnels discovered in the past 5 years. Some of these are amassing with hydraulics that lift the entire floor of a room inside a church, have trolleys on tracks to move tons of drugs. unfrigginbelievable !!! Do a search on tunnels under Nogales |
210 miles.... Heck, I did 400 yesterday.
Mike |

|
Mikies car wouldn't make it 400 miles, it broke on the way to the X-mass party.
