Paint Touch up

I found a guy who will touch up the road rash in the paint of the front of the car for $150 to $250 depending on how much prep work is required. He did mine and you can't tell where the old Chebby Orange stops and the New Chebby Organge starts. He does really good work. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll give you a phone number.

Dan, that is a good person to know. Even if we don't need him today, we will eventually. So, keep his name and number available. Thanks

AZ Bob

A good touch up guy could be busy with this crowd.

Why don't you post his name and #.

Paging Dr. Steve Wood of the New Mustang Ranch (no, not that one...the car place in Santa Clara, CA http://www.newmustangranch.com/).

If you could line up a good touch up guy at "the Ranch", we could probably run a bunch of cars through in a day.

Dan - I like your oil cooler blocker. :) I've got a thin piece of black rubber covering mine and it works great during the cooler months.

No touch up for me.

I like the patina.

Besides, primer is a lot harder to touch up.:3DSMILE:

Good prices Dan

Lookin' good Dan. I've got about 15 small chips in my paint under the front headlights. I think I'll wait until 50 or so for touch up. My windshield is cracked, and my pipes are still at the welders'. For only 3000 miles, this roadster is taking a beating. When I get the pipes back on, I'm going to take it out and beat on it some more !

Doug; I would love to offer a touch up service, but my paint & body guy is a perfectionist and he wont touch my SPF. ---not unless I let him strip the car and start over.

Let me check with my other paint and body shop references.

MORE CHIPS; gave aunt Linda a ride in the spf , this weekend.

When strapping in, - she (accidentally) dropped the door facing seat belt out the door , it went down , bounced off the body and I have 3 more chips from a not very hard impact from a seat belt buckle.

My car is starting to look like I have been shot at by the neighbor kids bb gun.

Feeling Disgruntled about my paint.

Steve
