oops..
On the way home from our Saturday night gathering, I was motoring down the the street enjoying the cool air. At a red light Don came up on me and gave his car a little more gas than he should have, I sensed a challenge. Feeling frisky, I decided to let him get a car length ahead and then unleashed the ponys. As I pulled alongside of him and Diana and at 5K grabbed second. I saw the ghost of Karl, and Brian pass by as the Silver streak got a little sideways. A little to the right, a little to the left. Kept my foot in it, finessed the wheel, straightened her out and zoomed on.
After that I slowed down. Ginny passed me and was waggling her finger at me in an admonishing manner. Not even a thumbs up for keeping the Silver streak on the straight and narrow. Who says 300HP is not enough. Mike |
Gee Mikie.. Have you been taking lessons from Ratboy? Sounds dangerous..
|
Mikie, you broke Rule number 1 of the "Ten Cobra Driving Safety Tips!"
1. The two most dangerous words in aviation are, "Watch this." The same goes for driving a Cobra. Humility is a wonderful personal trait to have for driving a Cobra safely. If you're not humble now try thinking you're a hotshot driver in a Cobra for awhile - you will get humbled, as they say down south, ".right quick!" Ralph (who shouldn't be talking so loud) |
Mike, how long did it take for your bung to let go of the seat?
|
Mikiec, must have had a heck of a tail wind to conjure up 300HP. Must still be running those rock hard BFGs to have gotten a little sideways.
|
RFO Mikie !!
The air was good and these Toys love it. If you think Miss Ginny was wagging her finger at you imagine what Don must have been hearing for not keeping up with you. If I was even a little PC I would be admonishing you about excessive acceleration in an uncontrolled manor, but you had it controlled. So screw the I know better than you do or don't do that again because you are a bad bad person mentality. Enjoy !!! PS.. 300 HP is enough horsepower at the bottom of it's power curve. |
Way to go Mikiec !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad you kept it under control. Now I know there are advantages to having a weak ass 300hp motor.:D |
My Chebby has 300HP with the ignition off.

But Karl at least Mickiec's Ford is running!

Yeah! What he said. :LOL::LOL:

He said it was a "European Shoulder Bag" but we know different. Is this what happens after you go sideways? Karl? Does Mike work for Geico?

Hey when your as skinny as he is 300hp is a lot, hp to weight , pretty simple.
|
Now that you've gotten rid of the weight, we need to work on your color coordination skills..
