Cruisin' Central
I saw several good looking and sounding Cobras cruisin' Central Avenue last night. Since I don't know any of you and didn't get to meet/talk with any Cobra cruisers last night, who was there?
|
The old yellow one was there
I went with some street rod friends and got there about 12:30. Parked in the Park Central lot backed up to Central. We had a great sandwich at the Deli. Left about 8, behind a two other Cobras. Saw Tom and talked to him for a bit, right before I left. That event just keeps getting bigger and better. It is hard to find a diverse group of cars like that anywhere (for free)

Hey John, glad to hear that you got your car out. Thought I read that there was a $10 entry fee?

$10 bucks for Plaza parking a Tshirt y dash plaque...
Central is a really long street and parking could be had anywhere,..... It was great to see all the cars.
Just helps them put it together for next time..... Cheaper than GoodGuys. |
I was there. Did numerous hole shots and left a lot of rubber on Central. Cops were warning a lot of folks, but I was lucky and missed that.

Central Ave
I was there. Best place to park is north west side at entrance along the garage; all shade. Gave my spot to Rick with I left. Cops were closing the parking lot for some time because it was full. $10 was for OK/Buying "For Sale Sign" to put in your window....I think.
Actually the place is not like it use to be when everyone was holding up signs along Central; and people doing burnouts etc. |
Lorraine and enjoyed the show and we also cruised Central a few times. There were lots and lots of people lined along Central. It was a really fun event, our first.
