Anybody feel the Earthquake?
We were in Litchfield Park at the kids for dinner when the table shook and the hanging light fixtures began to sway. Turned on the tube to a 6.9 quake in Baja. News said it was felt as far away as LA........ Uhhhh and Phx.

They just upgrraded it to a 7.2. I live La Mesa (San Diego) and it shook my house pretty good. Felt three aftershocks too. Dogs were barking all over the neighborhood. Probably the strongest I fet since the Ridge quake back in the early 90's.

Felt it pretty good in Mission Viejo. It was a roller, no jolts. pot rack was swinging pretty good, a lot of water sloshed out of the pool. No apparent damage.

Here's a video I took in the house just as the quake was finishing. Notice the lake is calm but the pool was sloshing around. Seems like it lasted about 20 seconds and was rather smooth and gentle here. No apparent damage either. Whew.

I felt it at my house in Scottsdale. I was outside working to prevent my dogs from chewing their way through my wooden gate

Felt it here in Tucson. Took me a second to figure out why the window blinds were swaying, then the pots began clanging on the pot rack. 3:45 was time on the microwave.

We never felt it in Northern Calif. and I didn't even know about it until I went for my morning look at the Geological Survey map. It showed several aftershocks, a couple of pretty good ones.
Nothing in Havasu City, but of course I was probably napping.

Nothing at my place. I was under the cobra removing the starter at that time. Decided to do some cleaning while I was under there. Figured after 10 years it was time. :):)

Nice roll in Simi Valley. Reminds you to double check those jackstands before you crawl under her!

I lived in El Centro for several years during the early 80s...we had a bad one centered south of Mexicali then just like yesterdays. The modern county building came down while the centuries old courthouse didn't even flinch. Interstate 8 was closed inbetween El Centro and Holtville for months due to bigassed cracks. The All-American canal along the border broke out of its banks and flooded some Mexicali neighborhoods.
It really is a hive for earthquakes down there...you never get used to it.

Sorry to butt-in on the Arizona Forum, but I thought for sure the San Diego Airport was going to collapse. It sure hit it hard.
