I ran across this today. They are affiliated with Shelby to sell Goodyear racing tires. I didnt know Shelby was int eh tire business as well. I called them and found out Goodyear makes a DOT drag radial that will fit Cobras.

This is not a "Shelby Shop." They sell Goodyear tires. Mostly at race tracks. We have seen their truck at old track events. I was on a cruise last week with some other SPF cars and one of them had DOT legal Goodyear Billboards on. Nice tires, really sticky, threw up rocks a lot but held great in the rain.

When Shel stopped racing he became the distributor for Goodyear Racing Tires. He figured Cobras where a footnote in racing history so time to do something else. Had a Chili Mix business for a while.

Know if they sell 18" tires? Anybody have a phone number?

mikiec 08-04-2010 09:43 AM

Fitz,

Get smaller wheels.

Mike

Fitz 08-04-2010 02:48 PM

I like to go around corners quickly and not slide too much%/:eek::LOL:

csx4910 08-04-2010 02:51 PM

Fitz,
I included the phone number in the first post. On another note, sliding around corners correctly has to do more with the driver than the tires, doesn't it?:D

In my case the car is all on automatic. That is why the wife is screaming so loudly! "Look no hands"

Usually I drive a few miles per hour below the speed limit.. Usually the last person behind Mr Mike. Car is always on Auto Pilot and follows the white line.%/:rolleyes:

Karl Bebout 08-09-2010 05:06 PM

Its always a good thing if Mikiec is behind sombody. If he can keep up, he may not get lost.

Fitz 08-09-2010 07:45 PM

So when is that car of yours going to be finished?
