Gun Shows
Jeff Classic and I went down to the gun show today. Good size show. 3 buildings and a tent. Jeff bought lube, I bought 3 kinds of ammo, (you can never have enough), some bungiee cords and a drill bit. Saw lots of cool stuff. Next buy is a .308 semi auto. Prefer Armalite but Rock River and DPMS both looked good and cheaper.
Yesterday we toured the Silver Auction, then Bear Arms, Scottsdale Gun Club, USAuto Weapons and Scottsday Sports and Classic Motorcars. Yes, I bought ammo there too. AZ Bob |
Bob;
Here's some more fuel for your decision engine: one of the AR-based .308's uses M-14 magazines, which are cheap and plentiful. Sorry, I can't remember which one. The rest use "$pecial" magazines. Bill Stradtner |

Go Gov. Brewer.

Since Cobra's are really Retro from a technology standpoint, maybe Cobra owners should from a gun standpoint, have 1911's. Personally I love my S&W, M&P .40cal. It is a great shooter. But my bedside table gun is a G.I. model 1911 made during the war.

http://www.crossroadsgunshows.com/gunsched.htm Looking for auto loader for 30 round carbine mags. Like this: http://luckysloader.com/riffle_semi/ I have Uplula which works great on handgun mags and Maglula which leaves much to be desired on rifle mags. AZ Bob |
I believe I will be there on the 20th. Need a new holster, magazines and grips for the new oh $h!t jr.
