Tucson, AZ. Paul Binney's Celebration of Life.
This Saturday, April 16th, will be the Celebration of Life for Paul Binney. Paul passed away a month ago. You may remember Paul in his red custom built "LoneStar". He wore a sweat stained "Aussi" hat and a smile from ear to ear. He participated in our events for about seven years. If you can attend, the Celebration will be held at the Vistoso Funeral Home. All of the info is at: www.vistosofuneralhome.com . Just google the website and get a map for directions, which are very straight forward. Paul's son and granddaughters are here from Austrailia. This will start at 11:00 am, a light lunch will follow.

Paul passed away from natural causes. He lived into his late 70's before he noticably slowed down. He had a couple of the , as I call them, 'Old Age" afflictions that he fought to the end. He was a driver of his Cobra and an encourager to all of us who were building our cars. The 100 degree temps didn't stop him from driving over for a visit and chat for a while.

Late seventies seems quite young, all things considered, did Paul retire young? Reason for the question I will hang my hat up this Decemeber when I turn seventy and I am planning on driving my Cobra well into my nineties. Good Lord willing of course.
John, If you are attending Paul's Celebration of Life please pass on my thoughs to his family, even though we have never met, we are all brothers in the end.
With respect, John,
