Discover Classic Cars?

Does anybody here have any experience with Discover Classic Cars in Scottsdale? I am considering consigning my T-bird with them and want to know if there is anything that I should know about them before I do.

Thanks,
Steve

Kind of makes one leary about going there with an idea about buying anything.

For what it's worth, the local BBB rates them an "A". They've been registered since Jan 2010. According to the listing below they have had one complaint that was settled since then.

Per the review above, get anything and everything in writing, with any dealership or car lot. That's how the reputable ones (I use the term loosly) expect to do business.

Anytime you buy a used car (and I spent time in the business) always remember "Caveat Emptor", Let the buyer beware. Shields up, photon torpedoes armed.

On a used car, the other thing to do if there is something that you want repaired and the dealer says they will do it. Make them repair it BEFORE you take possession of it. You can have it set up with the dealer to do that. If they won’t, walk away.

My youngest son bought a used Corvette from a new / used car dealer on a Saturday. It did not idle quite right and on the "DUE BILL" thay worded it as "Look into idleing issue". He took it back the next Monday. They said that there was nothing they could do about it. He said, The salesmant told me they would fix it. But what hs signed was that they would "look into it".

He learned on that one.
