Hi John - are the lights normal driving lights, or are they headlight units? I can't see any casing there, and it looks like headright adjusters on the sides of the units?

Glen, I have asked the installer for the specs and he told me they were from the 2007 Mustang, they are driving lights and made out of plastic. I am still waiting for the part number. Cheers, John

Tim, Sorry for the late reply, could not get a drawing from the installer since they were one off so next best thing is this picture showing a three way mounting set up. Looks like a very simple application. Hope this helps.

BTW I got a date for reclamation of the car. December 12th, all the fixes are in and the car is getting some miles put on it. Hooray.:3DSMILE:

What's the latest on your car?

dave from mesa 10-30-2011 11:48 AM

Yeah. What he said.

Danr55 10-30-2011 12:33 PM

Well, that should keep the rocks out of the radiator, but what's going to keep the rocks out of the lights?

CHANMADD 10-30-2011 01:26 PM

I have had driving lights like that for years.....it is like daylight at night:D

tin-man 10-30-2011 11:13 PM

Mikie, All the issues have been resolved and I am to pick my car up in Irvine from Hillbank Motors on December 12th. I will drive it for a day or so and then have it shipped to Phoenix for delivery on the 16th. I conclude there will never be anymore issues with the car and I will enjoy it for many years in my retirement. Here's hoping.:D

Will you be having the regular gathering on Saturday 17th at Safeway?

Cheers, John, AKA, tin-man

dave from mesa 10-31-2011 07:33 AM

John
Why not just drive it back?

Karl Bebout 10-31-2011 09:02 AM

Its more than 89 miles from Hillbank to PHX.

But seriously, best of luck.

mikiec 10-31-2011 09:36 AM

Yes, we will be there.

I hope the car makes it.
